Ce N'est Pas Grand Chose, MAIS
We’re only one month into our “French Homeschool” journey. I say “French Homeschool” in quotes because Jubilee is only 3 years old so it’s nothing official. It’s nothing official, BUT. But, I’m seeing progress! She has started saying French colors or numbers throughout the day. She sings pieces of French songs. She is starting to echo back words while she watches a language learning show. But probably most important of all, she is loving it!
Songs and sillies. Music and movement. Seeing Jubilee imitate even the hand motions that go along with her favorite songs reminds me that THIS is the perfect age to start language learning! I don’t have to wait until she is able to read or do “official” homeschool. I may be looking forward to using more of the resources I’ve found for her but I must not waste this current season when learning is a delight.
